This is an opportunity to make a significant impact at a fast-growing tech company.
Over the last 4 years OfferZen has managed to make a large dent in the South African tech recruitment space - and we're speeding up.
Our mission is to improve the experience of finding work for makers - people involved in making software, from developers to designers and data scientists. OfferZen does that by flipping the traditional recruitment model on its head and getting companies to reach out to makers with upfront offers.
There are more cities, countries and industries to expand into, so the growth potential in this role is high.
Our team has rapidly grown to 60+ people and we are looking to add even more smart people who want to contribute meaningfully to our team. We need someone to own that growth. Your mission as the OfferZen Internal Recruiter will be to own and run all aspects of the OfferZen recruiting process including creating awareness, sourcing, hiring, tooling and tracking.
You’ll need to be an expert on sourcing and hiring and help us to build a world class recruitment function that people look to for inspiration.
The kind of person we’re looking for can spot talent from a mile away, is incredibly persuasive and high energy and gets a kick out of connecting with people and winning them over.
We are a fun loving and very driven team of 63 people. We are transparent with our numbers and strategy and have weekly learning sessions where someone in the company presents something they do. We get lunch every day and have 20 days of leave a year. We do fun stuff together like going on picnics at Kirstenbosch, playing board games and climbing every week for those that are keen.
You’ll work in the People Ops team and have broad exposure and involvement with all the facets of the business.
Some articles and videos that will give you a better idea of what it's like to work at OfferZen:
We’re helping makers - the people who design and build software products - to unlock their individual potential. We started with recruitment because helping someone find a job they love is one of the fastest ways of changing their life. Since then we’ve started expanding to things like freelancing and building tools for the tech community.
